Yes. All conversations with our advocates and counselors are confidential. We will not share your information with anyone — including law enforcement, family members, or employers — without your explicit permission. There are very limited exceptions required by law (such as imminent risk of harm), which we will always explain clearly before you share anything.
No, you do not. Reporting to law enforcement is entirely your choice. You can access all of our services — including counseling, advocacy, and medical support — regardless of whether you choose to file a police report. We respect your autonomy and will never pressure you into any decision.
Yes. All of Nevada HealthRight’s services are completely free of charge. This includes crisis hotline support, victim advocacy, counseling, safety planning, and accompaniment services. There are no hidden fees, no insurance requirements, and no financial barriers to receiving help.
Absolutely. You are welcome to bring a trusted friend, family member, or support person to any appointment or meeting with our team. Having someone you trust by your side can help you feel more comfortable and supported throughout the process.
When you call our 24/7 hotline, a trained advocate will answer. They will listen without judgment, believe you, and help you understand your options. You control what you share. The call is completely confidential, and you can remain anonymous if you prefer.
